How do you Build a Blog and Personal Brand that stands out? An Expert Round-Up Review with LogoJoy

I was recently approached by Logojoy and asked to answer a question as part of their Expert Round-up Review. The question I was asked to answer was;

How do you Build a Blog and Personal Brand that Stands Out?

This is how I tackled the brief and replied……

“The most important thing to remember here is that YOU are your Brand. You are unique and therefore so should your Blog and Brand be.

You need to be able to be yourself while at the same time being able to connect with your audience. Let your personality shine through as after all this is what people will mostly engage with, but also give them content which is of interest. Ask yourself what your Blog is going to be about and what your target audience is going to be. Try to find something that you are truly passionate about. This will show not only in your writing style, but will also make your target audience want engage with you all the more. Be authentic and genuine and people will want to connect with you and read your posts.

The best way to build your Personal Blog and Brand is through various social media channels. Let the people see and hear you across various platforms. Try out different things and see what works best for you and you will soon see your followings begin to grow. Always be prepared to keep finding new ways to stay connected with your audience. Keep your content fresh and relative to your chosen niche. Don’t try and be too diverse  and wide ranging from your chosen niche or you could end up just becoming confusing and will lose engagement as a result.”

What do you think? Would you have answered this question any differently?
